Sri Hanuman Jeyanthi was celebrated with bakthi and religious fervor on December 25 [Sunday], in the presence of Acharya Swami Sivayoganada,  at Chinmaya Mission, Madurai. Hanuman Chalisa parayanam, Bhajans and special Aarthy were performed ..Chinmaya Mission members, Devi Group, Chyks and the  devotees in large numbers  participated in the celebration ..Lunch was sponsored by Sri Thilagar, General   Secretary of the Mission, for all the devotees ..

Chinmaya Academy For Management Science - Meeting















Chinmaya Academy for Management Science, a wing of Chinmaya Mission, Madurai has organised a Management programme for corporate people, on December 17, 2011, (Saturday) at Chinmaya Meenakshi...Dr. Smt. S. Girija , management consultant and HR Trainer, delivered a lecture on " Interpersonal Relationship Skills " and shared her experiences with more highlights and visuals..80 delegates from different organisations and Colleges were attended the event.


Earlier in his benediction address, Acharya Swami Sivayogananda briefed about the IPR Skills, from the view point of our ancient scriptures like Maharabharatha...Ms. Guhakumari welcomed the gathering while Mr. Thilagar delivered vote of thanks.....

Geetha Gnana Yagna at Sri Krishna Temple, Anna Nagar, Madurai, inaugurated by Dr. S Subramanian., M.D., (Pathologist) Vijay Clinical Lab., on November 27, (Sunday) by 6.45 p.m., in the presence of Acharya Swami Sivayoganada. Sri M.S. Meenakshisundram in his presidential address briefed the works of Chinmaya Mission at Madurai. While Sri Thilagar welcomed the gathering , Smt. Arunai lighted the Divine Lamp.,

Br. Amaresh Chaithanya, Chinmaya Mission, Chennai, outlined the 17th Chapter on the first day of the Yagna and the discourse continues till 3rd Dec..

Madurai Mission members visit to Karur Yagna !





















Twenty one members of Chinmaya Mission, Madurai. participated in the "Hanuman Chalisa Maha Yagna " organised by Chinmaya Mission, Karur, on Nov. 22, 2011, under the guidance of Br. Aniruth Chaithanya..Swami Shreedharanandaji, Trichy, Swami Krishnathmanandaji, Salem, Br. Ajithji , Br. Amareshji , Br. Sampoornanthaji, and Br. Kutastha Chaithanyaji, participated along with thousand of Devotees from Karur and other areas,,
Service of Chinmaya Yuva veer members, in the yagna are being appreciated..

,In the evening Madurai members visited Sri Sadhasiva Brahmendral Jeeva Samadhi at Nerur and Sri Pasupathinath Temple, Karur, before their return....

Personality Development Camp for youth !






















A personality Development Camp for the girl students of TVS Sundram School, Madurai, was organised by Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, Madurai on November 12,2011 (Saturday)..113 students with their 5 teachers participated in the camp.

Acharya Swami Sivayogananda, welcomed the students and briefed about the motto of this camp. Br. Sampoorna Chaithanya from Kodaikkanal, with a moral story started the camp..Sri Gopalsamy, trained the students with simple exercises and breathing techniques to develop the memory and concentration skills, of the students. Mrs. Mallika Sekar explained the 'valuable values ' to the students, in her motherly style. Acharya Swami Sivayogananda guided the students with his thought provoking talk, with the quotes from Tirukkural. The camp ended with a vote of thanks by Chyk Nirmala and Chinmaya Pledge.

Participants enjoyed trekking on the Nagamalai hills in the afternoon..They expressed their happiness & benefit of this camp, and also appreciated the organisors - Chinmaya Yuva Kendra members - thro' their feed back ... .
