Sri Krishna Jayanthi Celebrations - August 14 to August 15, 2009

Cultural Programme by Balvihar Children
at Chinmaya Meenakshi, Chinmaya Mission, Madurai,
on August 15, 2009 (Sunday)

While the grand celebrations of Janmastami for 3 days kept the devotees reveling in the sweet memories of the birth of Sri Krishna, Br. Srinivas Chaithanyaji's 'Gnana Yagna' at Tirunagar, on the closing chapter of Udyog Parvam of Mahabharatha, struck the audience with wonder on the magnanimity of the Lord...

Sri Krishna as a messenger of Pandavas, portrayed the excellent qualities - compassion, wisdom, endurance, untiring effort to explain the righteousness of one's life, recognizing and responding to the true love, focused, unbiased and what not!

Effort is that by which man unlocks his potentials, discovers the growing confidence, recognizes weakness, breaks all limitations and thereafter becomes the creator of his destiny.

Sri Krishna speaks volumes of 'dharma' one has to follow..Subtle facts of stories, limitless sages, maharishis and yogis, who walked on this noble soil, throws light, on this treasure land of spirituality next to none.

The sanctity and purity of ' Yudhishtra' and other Pandavas is admirable through the verses of Vedha Vyasa... Their trust in Sri Krishna is unshakable!

Trusting is a sign of trustworthiness., of course! In trust, the soul is at rest!!!
