Two Day Theater Festival by Chyks.....

                     TWO-DAY THEATER FESTIVAL By CHINMAYA YUVA KENDRA  [Chyks]

Feb: 18th & 19th [ Saturday and Sunday] are the red-letter days for Maduraits. The youth wing of Chinmaya Mission of Madurai & Thamaraipakkam (Chennai) did splendid performance in Lakshmi Sundram Hall, Madurai. M/S Central Bank of India was the chief sponsor of the programme.

Barathy-Yaar?  Was a Tamil play staged on the first day…

Mr. Gopalakrishnan, Zonal Manager ,Central Bank of India, Chennai, was the chief guest. Isaikavi. Ramananji during his felicitation, said as how one has to imbibe ‘Barathi ‘within.

Acharya Swami Sivayogananda, said during his benediction, that Swami Chinmayananda was an ardent flame and the youth are sparkles from it. Hence they can only achieve success. Mr. Gopalakrishnan said that money invested in Chinmaya Mission gives rich dividends to one’s inner growth.

The spectacular show by Barathi thrilled the audience. They couldn't get up even when the show ended.

‘Surya 108’ was yet an another marvelous play, in English,  by Madurai and Chennai  CHYKS. Surya’s  Gayathri mantra  was heard murmuring  by the public , even when the play ended. Simply Amazing….

Mr. Periyathambi, Dy. Genl. Manager of Central Bank of India, Madurai, was the chief guest. Prof. Raja Govindasamy, gave a very warm felicitation.

Participation certificates were distributed to all the participants  and memontoes to the Chinmaya Mission members and Devi Group for their tireless service for the success of the programme.. Acharya Swami Sivayoganada honored Chyk Sudharsan, Chennai,, for his wonderful coordination and leadership…

Taking the audience to Rishis, witnessing  Sri Rama, Siva are a few glimpses of the play. The hall was packed and sometimes over-flowing. ....
